Hello
REDUNDANCY-5
Error Message C4K_REDUNDANCY-5-CALENDAR_RATELIMIT: The calendar
has been successfully synchronized to the standby supervisor
[dec] times since last calendar syslog
Explanation The calendar was successfully synchronized to the standby supervisor the specified number of times.
Recommended Action This is an informational message only. No action is required.
The calender clock of the standby supervisor was synchronized rather than being syncnronised from the standby sup.
The calendar maintains its accuracy, even after a power failure or system reboot has occurred. This may be applicable only to the active sup and hence you may be seeing this message when the switch updates the calendar on the standby
Hope this helps

Hi Natik,
Error message:
%C4K_REDUNDANCY-5-CALENDAR_RATELIMIT:
The calendar has been successfully synchronized to the standby supervisor24 times since last cale ndar syslog
The configuration has been successfully synchronized to the standby
supervisor This is a rate limited message. These messages are logged at 1
min interval when lots of messages are generated continuously
Recommended Action: This is an informational message. No action is required.
Ideally, these rate-limited messages will be generated every 24 hours and thus there would be only 1 message in a day. This looks like it sent the same message 4 times within a second, which does not look right. Did you also find same messages being generated on the console ?
Pls check the config on the switch too, to see whether the syslog server config looks OK. Also check the NTP configs & whether the calendar is being updated from NTP.
HTH
Regards
Inayath
