Error in enable mode

Dear All,

 I have switch 4500 and when i loggin to the switch with console and trying to enter "enable" mode, i found this strange mode as shown in the attached picture.

does any know the reason of that and how i enter the normal "enable" mode ?

hi,

i believe you're running CatOS on your 4500 and you're already in the "enable" mode.

kindly issue a show version and post the output to verify.

 Thank you guys for your replies, yes i knew that it is the CatOS (very old software) it is the first time i see it.

when this happens are you able to use any show command within the enable mode?

Is this happening using the hyperterminal on Windows?

Hi,

It is running Cat Os (old software - dinosaur's age:) ) and this is the enable mode on them.

The usual enable mode you expect is on IOS.
