Error Log On Cisco Nexus %SYSMGR-FEX100-5-HEARTBEAT_LOSS

Hi.

I have the next log on my cisco Nexus 5k:

%SYSMGR-FEX100-5-HEARTBEAT_LOSS: Service "satctrl" heartbeat loss 2 ,max 7 .

Anyone have any clue about it?.

Symptom:

On Nexus 5000 switch following message can be seen repeatedly for the FEX.  SYSMGR-FEX100-5-HEARTBEAT_LOSS:  Service "satctrl" heartbeat loss 2 ,max 7

Conditions:

Nexus 5000 switch configured for FEX.  Polling the fex with the dot1dTpPort (1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.4.1.1) OID which is part of BRIDGE MIB.

Workaround:

Stop polling dot1dTpPort OID  This same issue can be caused by MIBs other than dot1dTpPort OID like dot1dTpPortInFrames OID.
