error on 3550 switch

Hi all,

i have connected my 3550 switch to network .

its new switch with default config but when i console to it i get this error

%Error opening tftp://255.255.255.255/router-confg (Timed out)

this comes automatically and when i press enter it i sok

From config mode -

3550(config)# no service config

that should stop those messages.
