Etherchannel or fibre-channel on 3508?

When you aggregate multiple fibre GBICs together on the 3508G, do you configure it as an etherchannel, or as fibre-channel? I've looked around online for hours, but can't find it mentioned anywhere.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Etherchannel (or aggregated link, or whatever you prefer).

Fibre-channel is a data link protocol used in storage networks and is a different protocol from ethernet.

3550G is a data switch, so you use Etherchannel.

Thank you very much for the fast responses. Now I know how to proceed when the 3508s come in.
