I have now had a couple of 3750 switches that have been part of a stack that do not clear out the stack information. When I come to reconfigure them in stand alone mode they still have old switch information in them. Typically the switch would normally configure as 1/0/1-24 but they now only respond to a configuration of 3/0/1-24. They end up with what looks like two 24 port switches in the show conf list, but only the second one, 3/0/1-24 is useable.
I have tried clear flash/vlan, front panel switch hold but nothing so far has been able to clear them out. Apart from this they appear to work fine, even back in another stack, although they look pretty odd.
Any ideas?
