Featured Licenses on C6513-E and Sup2t

Hi

I was searching about SUP2T on C6513-E and found this link:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/catalyst-6500-series-supervisor-engine-2t/data_sheet_c78-648214.html

According to information in above link, there are some Licensed Feature. I wonder what are those features? and do we need any license for enabling certain features on C6513-E with Sup2T like the one on ASR Series?

Thank you

Peyman

Hi,

There is no license associated with Sup-2T and the line cards. So long as the card is compatible with the chassis, you can use it.

As for the 6900 series cards compatibility with Sup-2T, see the link below:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-6500-series-switches/data_sheet_c78-648212.html

Not that i am aware of in Cat 6K Switches - look at the Licenses and feature you looking to office before you buying License.

The URL document has information - Software part numbers

Hi

There is no information about license in mentioned link. Also I want to use 6908 card on the chassis and there is no information about license on the datasheet:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-6500-series-switches/data_sheet_c78-648212.html

Can I assume no license is required for the setup?

Thank you

its just like any other line card - as long as you have higher license you have you can use any feature. depends on requirement and where you deploying this device.

make sure right Supervisor to support that Line card.

Note : most of the card we discussing come to end of life.
