I need cheaper alternatives to connect the VPC peer links between my 7706 chassis (running F348XP-23 cards each). Twinax is a bit on the thick end and hard to manage space so I wanted to check if FET modules can be used on both ends of 7706 or are the FETs ONLY for Nexus 7Ks/5Ks to 2Ks only? Or are there other alternatives?

FET's only supported from N2K - Parent switch could be 7K/5K. You cannot use FET between 77K and 7K.
You would either do the Twinax or Fiber connectivity with SFP-10G-SR.

Thanks, Amit. That's what I thought.
