First 12 ports of WS-X6748-GE-TX are not working

Hi

I have a cisco 6509 switch in which i have 2 SUPs. I am using 3 Qty. of WS-X6748-GE-TX in the same switch.

First 24 ports of module 1 and are not working. I replace the faulty moldule with the working one but now the new (good) module's first 12 ports stopped working. But when I insert the good card (the replaced one with the faulty) in other chassis it works fine.

Hi,

Since the blade works fine in one chassis and not the other, take a look at the pins in the bad chassis's backplane  and make sure they are all straight and not bent. Also try putting the blade in a different slot in the bad chassis and test.

Run an online diagnostics on the module.

I've got a strange feeling the backplane of the chassis could be failing.
