Hi all,
I am trying to upgrade IOS for a 3850 stack (2 switches) and when I tried first time it didn't go well and would like to do it again, so I deleted the unnecessary files for both the flashes (flash-2 is the active), however for some reason I don't see the same free space available on flash-2 like how it was before, but the flash-1 is showing the correct free space available. I am not sure if this is some kind of a bug for flash-2 or are there any hidden files?
Please see the below output, flash-2 should also show 992477184 bytes free approximately however it is showing only 487899136 bytes free.

Hi,
How did you delete the files? On the 3850 you create space using the "request platform software package clean switch all" Try this command and let me know how it goes.
Thanks
John

Yes John, but again I ran the command to see if I can delete any files, but it shows only 3 files which are small in size.
