i have cisco 2522 router,i am forget the username and password,hou to recover the username&password

you have to follow the guide step by step  , what are asking above ?

step 4 set the config register to bypass the config where the hostname is stored , then type I it will reload the router , then follow the rest of the steps

4.Type o/r 0x2142 at the > prompt to boot from Flash without loading the configuration.
5.Type i at the > prompt.
The router reboots but ignores its saved configuration.
