Forward HTTPS (443) traffic using WCCP to Ironport

Hi all,

I had configured the WCCP configuration in the layer-3 switch which able to forward the WCCP traffic to my ironport for HTTP (port 80) traffic.

But after I adding the access-list for HTTPS (port 443) traffic under the same access-list for HTTP traffic, the Ironport unable to receive any traffic for HTTP or HTTPS from my layer-3 switch but the WCCP services in layer-3 switch still up as verified.

From my research, I found that the WCCP forward traffic will need have different redirect service ID for each service type with example like HTTP, HTTPS and FTP from the reference below. Is that true or I can combine all the service type in the similar access-list?

https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/firewalling/wccp-with-https-redirection-on-asa/td-p/1491499

Kindly advise me any solutions that able to overcome this issue.

Thank you for help.

You are correct that HTTP and HTTPS each need their own unique service for WCCP.
