I think you can confirm it in "show module" on MSFC. or "show version" on FWSM.

But it does not show the complete file and its size. If i have to verify is the downloded size is correct, how can i do it

I would like to suggest you login to FWSM by "session slot
And may well be able to confirm in something like "show flash" on the FWSM.

Hi I am tring to upgrade the FWSM image but while pinging to switch i am getting packet drops...What may be the reason.
just attached logs of FWSM.

Hello,
That may be due to physical errors.
You can ping the same address from the Switch directelly ?

nop here also i was getting error..
I was able to ping switch, fw also but with packet drop. i also tried from switch and same response

Hello,
If you arrive to ping the FWSM that means that it's running the OS and getting the IP.
Can you please send the output of the command #show tech-support of the CAT 6500 ?
