We have  installed two 4900 series swiches on core layer. we want to configure GLBP.

but Access Layer We installed Non cisco (Nortel-awaya) Switches.kindly suggest us GLBP  works in this scenario.

Are you talking about a collapsed Core where your Access-Switches are attached directly to the core? And you are using a Layer2-Access without routing where your L3-interfaces that are used as a default-gateway for your clients are on the Core?

Then you can use GLBP as the access-layer is transparent for GLBP.

But: Do you really need GLBP? Every form of load sharing / load balancing makes trubleshooting harder compared to a setup where you know in advance how your data will flow. So think about your traffic and decide if HSRP with two groups wouldn't be enough.

My access Layer NON-Cisco switch' 1st uplink  is directly connected to Core Switch-1, second uplink is directly connected to Core Switch-2.

My Question is that GLBP communication with multicast address like 224.0.0.112.

Hello information send in two switches though Access Layer Switches so is it possible GLBP or Not.

If you have any query let me know

yes, it will just flow through unless you configure something on the access-switches that blocks these packets.
