HA between Supervisor SUP V-10GE and SUP-8E on 4507R-E Chassis

Hello all,

Need advise/help from this community.

Currently there is existing supervisor Sup V-10GE installed on 4507R-E chassis.

I want to add another supervisor Sup-8E to the chassis.

Both supervisor running on different IOS version/type (existing using ios and sup-8e using ios XE).

Is it possible to make HA between them?or do I need manually upgrade older sup ios to ios xe to make HA sync work?

Hi Faris,

To do HA/SSO on the sups, both Sups need to be exactly the same.  They also need to be running the same exact version of IOS.
