Hi I'm a newbie  studying for CCNA.i'M TRYING TO BUILD A HOME LAB WITH 3 2501 AND A 2514  ROUTERS,  i ALSO HAVE A D-LINK 16 PORTFAST ETHERNET SWITCH. QUESTIONS

1. WILL THIS DLINK SWITCH WORK WITH MY CISCO ROUTERS?

2 IS THIS SUFFICIENT EQUIPMENT TO SEE ME THRU THE COURSE?

No because you won't be quizzed to configure DLINK switches.

Thanks Leolaohoo that was really helpful, I'll play around a little with the D-link switch until i can afford a Cisco..

1.Are there any that you could recommend I should get?

2.with this cisco switch  and my routers will that be enough to see me thru . i'm on a tight budget but I'm aware  that those acess routers i mentioned have reached their End of sale

There are alot of 2900XL/3500XL you can get very, very cheap at e-bay.  Check them out ...
