Dear friends,
There are multiple Cisco Catalyst 3750E-PD switches with version 12.2(52)SE in a stack connected to a VSS distribution.
Intermittently, we are getting CPU threshold alarms(rising threshold configured at 50%) for some processes which are:
Virtual exec
crypto sw pk pro
hulc running con
They barely cross 70% and dont affect the normal operation of the switch, but i was just curious to know if its normal.
I read about hulc running con causing high CPU is normal when there are config changes from the url:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/products_tech_note09186a00807213f5.shtml
However, there are no config changes.
Even the virtual exec process causing high cpu because of heavy data transfers on telnet sessions is not applicable to us as this is happening even without getting into telnet / ssh.
Does anyone have a clue / direction on how do i go about troubleshooting this?
Thanks a lot
Gautam

Dear Leo,
I went through the link, but it still does not let me know the actual cause of the problem.
Thanks a lot

Dear All,
Does anyone have a clue on this.
Even the processes causing high cpu are quite clear now.
Thanks a lot
