How can enable sfp port in Cisco catalyst 2960x 29

Two switches are there, one Cisco 2960x and second one another company. These switches connected together using fiber cable. But in Cisco side no light blinking,no internet connection. Please help.

Are both SFPs of the same wavelengths?

What sfp do you have in the Cisco? Have you tried crossing the fibres?

There may be chance of Layer 1 issue most of the time.

1. Check the fibre cable ok ?

2. Twist the fibre patch lead tail end and see if that work ?

3. Make sure both the SFP are recognised by switch. check you able to see SFP inserted in the switch.

4. when you unshut the switch side, you can see light on onside of the port, same can be viewed other side of the end (do not see dirctly with eye).
