I'm running VSS of 6509-E Sup2T with IOS 15.0(1)SY6 Advance Enterprise.
The command that I'm familiar with "ip nbar" does not exist.
how can I activate it ? and how can I update it ?
I'd like to use it for netflow export.

When you configure flexible netflow, flow record I think you can input an application name
ie
conf t
!
flow record xyz
match application name xyz

thanks for your help.
unfortunately, this command doesn't work.
more than that - I can't even use the command "ip nbar <something>" in order to update the nbar.
does 6500 platform support NBAR ?

I don't believe "ip nbar" command is supported on the 6500. I tried it on a 6800 with sup 2T and no luck.

To configure the use of the application name as a key field for a flow record, use the match application name command in flow record configuration mode. To disable the use of the application name as a key field for a flow record, use the no form of this command.
match/collect application name
no match/collect application name
