How to add a new ISP to my network

Hi guys, I will try my best to be as clear as possible.

I'm junior Network Admin and just start to work in this small company.

Currently i have one ISP, 100mbps symetric link:

Internet > ISP1 > ISP SWiTCH > CISCOPiX1 AND CiSCOPiX2

Each CiscoPix is also connect to these differents domains through different nic:

Hosting SW

Dmz SW

Prod SW

Dev SW

I do not have additional Network Interface to connect new devices on my CiscoPIX...

NOW i have a new ISP coming soon with a 1 Gbps symetric Link

to have redundancy and improve some of my Prod services

What would be the best way to interconnect this new link to my network ?

And of course i want to keep my network behide a firewall.

I guess i would buy one or two new PIX and interconnect with the current switches. But does a pix can manage a Gbps link ?

Anyway please let me know if you have any advices.

Thanks

Xav.

First of all, I don't understand why do you have two PIX devices; each of them has one public IP and function as a router also ?

How many eth ports does your PIX equipment has?

Hi Florin,

The previous admin installed two PIX linked failover.

-each PIX is connected to the ISP1 switch and has it Public IP.

-each PIX has: 5 Network interfaces Total

Each network interface:

eth0

eth1

card #1 :eth

card #2 :OpticalFiber

card #3 :OpticalFiber

And yes they act as router also.
