I am looking at purchasing a Catalyst switch, either a 3750X or 3850 multi-gigabit model, and my question is this, how do I configure 2 ports to be plugged into the same 3rd party (such as Ruckus) access point so that it works properly? I assume its not just plug and play, but uses something along the lines of EtherChannel or other port bonding method. I hope this makes sense.

If both ports are connecting to the same AP, you can configure an Etherchannel to bundle both ports together. Find out what type of port bundling the Ruckus equipment support as Cisco switches support LACP and mode "On"
