How to configure QOS for cisco video phones in 9300 switches with MQC

Hi everyone, we are having some doubts about configuring qos in 9300 interfaces that connect to cisco phones that support video. QOS documentation say following: "Do not configure the auto qos voip cisco-phone option for IP phones that support video."

So does anyone has a template or idea about configuring correctly the access port to this type of phones? (9900/8800)

Thank you in advance for your kindly help!

Gustavo

I'm unfamiliar with Paul's noted auto QoS commands, and what they actually do regarding QoS settings, but in principal, for your video phones, the "best fit" should be the "video cts" option, if it's for telepresense devices.

Basically, for live real-time interactive video, you want QoS to treat it much as you would VoIP bearer traffic, although allowing for more (perhaps much more) bandwidth usage.

The other video options likely are more concerned with just insuring sufficient bandwidth, and avoiding packets drops, rather then real-time issues, i.e avoiding delivery latency and jitter.
