Do you have any kind of logging (Notifications (5) and above) enabled  on the device, if so you can find that out in logs. Below is an example  log message

Jul 17 2012 10:28:10.111 CST: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by siddhartha on vty0 (10.0.X.X)

If you have NTP running on your switch, sh run command will also show you who made the last config change

Do a "sh run".  Look at the first three lines.

Switch#sh run

Building configuration...

Current configuration : 13407 bytes

Hi,

I apologize for not being clear.  The 6509 is a set command switch, not an IOS switch.  I need to quickly find out the last person who made the last CONFIG change without looking at the log.

Try "show logg buff 1000   or "show config all " and see if that tells you .

show log buff 1000 and show config all are not valid show command in the 6509 set command switch

xxxxxxxx> (enable) sh log buff 1000

Usage: show log [mod]

       show log command [mod]

xxxxxxxx> (enable) sh config all

Command option not allowed in text configuration mode.

Usage: show config

       show config checkpoints

show config differences [ignorecase|context [val]] all

show config differences [ignorecase|context [val]] []

       show config mode

xxxxxxxx> (enable) sh log buff 1000

Usage: show log [mod]

       show log command [mod]

xxxxxxxx> (enable) sh config all

Command option not allowed in text configuration mode.

Usage: show config

       show config checkpoints

show config differences [ignorecase|context [val]] all

show config differences [ignorecase|context [val]] []

       show config mode
