How to force Link-up on C4k switches

Hi all,

I know it is possible to force the link-up on interface for the cisco 6k by applying the command, for ex : hw-module module 3 simulate link-up

I would like to do the same on a Catalyst 4510 but I don't find how.

Do you have an idea whether it is possible or not ?

The idea is to simulate an interface up where nothing is connected.

Hi,

This command is not available on the 4500 series.  You can only reset or do an fpga upgrade on the module but not simulate up or down.

fpga-upgrade  Upgrade FPGA SPI FLASH in specified slot
  reset         Reset module in specified slot
