how to hide my ips from being seen in trace route ??

hi ,

assume i want to hide the ips of the internel network infrastructure in an isp ,

how to hide it from being seen in trace ,  or how to replace it with wrong ips or fake ips ????

Hi Ahmed,

You can block the icmp traffic towards your router to block the trace route. See the below example for ASA 8.4 version command which blocks the traceroute. This should be applied on your outside interface...

access-list inbound deny icmp any any traceroute
