How to make use of Cisco Wap 561 5ghz radio along with 2 ghz radio.

Hello Everyone,

I have an office where i am working as the administrator. I have 2 access points of speed 2-3ghz range.Also i have another cisco dual radio accesspoint( Cisco Wap 561 POE) . All the laptops in my office are able to recognize only those access points  whose capability is 2.5Ghz . How can i make use of 5ghz accesspoint without buying devices that are capable of identifying 5ghz accesspoint ??

2.4Ghz/5Ghz is not a speed as such, its the frequency.

If all your devices only have a 2.4Ghz radio then they will not be able to connect using 5Ghz. 

Most modern mobile phones are able to use the 5Ghz frequency but if your laptops are older then they may benefit from purchasing replacement wireless cards that work on both bands.
