how to migrate switch AP from WLC to other WLC

Hi,

I try to remplace WLC  because the old wlc (7.0) is capacity full...

but the AP (3502) do not "registered" to new WLC (7.3)....

If you have a idea, without make a reset factory to AP...

You will need to update option 43 to point to the new WLC on the DHCP server subnet that serves the VLAN that the new AP is in.

   Just change the ip address of where the AP is pointed  to the new primary controller address . It should then reassociate to the new controller .

Go To WLC

Then Select Wireless

Select AP

Select High availability Tab

There will be Primary and Secondary Controller

If you want you app to select Primary Controller give that ip

and if u want to assing secondary controller give that ip.
