00:37:50: OSPF: Rcv pkt from 172.16.3.2, FastEthernet0/1, area 0.0.0.3
00:37:54 OSPF: Rcv hello from 192.168.2.1 area 0.0.0.1 from FastEthernet0/0 172.16.2.2
I want to know the meaning of these outcome .
especially
00:37:54 OSPF: Rcv hello from 192.168.2.1 area 0.0.0.1 from FastEthernet0/0 172.16.2.2
RA received hello from 192.168.2.1 area 0 and what ??
also Is there any Documentation or URL which explain how to see all debug outcome ?
for example , debug ip rip , debug ip packet
debug ip ospf packet
etc... I really need to figure out the outcome of these debug command .

To display information on Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)-related events, such as adjacencies, flooding information, designated router selection, and shortest path first (SPF) calculation, use the
debug ip ospf events

thank you for reply and the link URL .
but I couldnt find what i want to know about this in the link .
00:37:54 OSPF: Rcv hello from 192.168.2.1 area 0.0.0.1 from FastEthernet0/0 172.16.2.2
In this output ,
Rcv hello from 192.168.2.1 area 0.0.0.1 → means from neighbor 192.168.2.1 ( area 1) RA got the hello packet .
is this correct ?
if so ,
What does mean by " from FastEthernet0/0 172.16.2.2" ???
please help me out

Hi,
192.168.2.1 is the OSPF RID from the neighbour and the hello was received on Fastethernet0/0 and the IP address of the interface sending the hello is 172.16.2.2.
Regards.
