how i see the signal strength of cisco access point by GUI & CLI , kindly help in this regard.

Access point model number is : CISCO AP1242AG-T-K9

note : users are complaint for signal strength issue

Signal output max. is stated in decibels (db) on AP specs.

To check signal strength at a particular spot around the AP you can use any of the available apps for mobile phones.

I cant rememeber but maybe show dot11 associations will show you the RSSI for the connected clients.

The suggestion is make a heat map studio, for example you could buy a tool like netspot tool.

These tools will help to identifiy the signal provided by each access point on your facility.
