How would I copy then upgrade the firmware on a 3750 via the Console cable?

How would I copy then upgrade the IOS on a 3750 via the Console cable? I have a switch I want to add to a stack and I want to put that same IOS version on it.

When I put it on the stack with a different version, I received a version mismatch error. So I tried the archive copy-sw /overwrite /dest 2 1, but received the errors:

ERROR:Malformed `info' file.

ERROR: Image is not a valid IOS image archive.

You should be able to copy from the stackmaster to the new switch. If for some reason you can't get a free tftpserver to run on your laptop and use that to transfer your image , it will be a lot faster than using xmodem to transfer the file.
