Community,
I was reading about a feature in IOS that makes the IP helper-address function "HSRP Aware" by adding the additional argument "Redundancy" to the command (e.g IP helper-address 10.x.x.x redundancy <name>). This feature prevents the duplication of the DHCP request forwarding to the DHCP server, allowing only the HSRP Active router to forward the request. However, when looking at the NX-OS equivalent (IP DHCP Relay command) I don't see this option. Does anyone know if this is an option in Nexus?

Thank you.

Hi,
Did you find anything out about this by chance? I suspect it's HSRP aware by default but don't see anything confirming this.
