HSRP Between Cisco 4500X and Nexus 5K

Dears,

i have checked on 4500X and Nexus 5k and they both support HSRP, so is it applicable to implement HSRP between 4500X and Nexus5K ?

or is there any limitation as 4500X is IOS and Nexus5K is NX-OS?

Hi Karim,

I have not tried out in the lab but it should be fairly straightforward and supported. HSRP use Cisco's implementation and should work fine. You just need to look out the syntax differences though between the two platforms.
