HSRP forwarding-threshold question

Hello,

I am trying to make sense of the "forwarding-threshold" command on our Nexus 5ks. We have a VPC pair of 5k's, where we have SVIs created for L3 gateways for connected servers. Some of our SVI's have the forwarding threshold command configured on both the primary AND secondary VPC members. Others have the forwarding threshold command configured ONLY on the primary unit. The article I referenced stated that "if you configure HSRP on a vPC-enabled interface, you can optionally configured the upper and lower threshold values to control when to fail over to the vPC trunk." So my questions would be:

1. Are the SVI's considered "vPC enabled interfaces"?

2. What is meant in their description, and how does the traffic flow before, or after the threshold falling below the configured value?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brian
