Hi Guys,
please i need your assistance and knowledge about how to use HSRP passing through a Metro ethernet ring.
We have two sites connected with Metro ethernet and some vlans extended between that sites.
SiteA have the 3750X Stack as a Core and HSRP priority, another SiteB have a 6509 chassi in VSS mode.
At the first step all HSRP priority are in 3750X in SiteA, the curious thing is:
When we are in SiteB and try to ping the Virtual IP Address of the HSRP, we can see many timeouts and to be honest nothing works, we have needed to replace the default gateways of the server with the Vlan IP of the Interface Vlan because the virtual ip of the HSRP does not respond normally.
Does anyone knows about that issue?
I was wondering if there is any configuration on Metro Network that we can make this issue.
