HSRP - standby switch failed to ping VIP

I have configured HSRP in VLAN 1 on both core switches. Core 1 is active and core 2 is in standby mode. I can  see standby, active IP and VIP on both core switches.
But from Core 2 (standby) i could not ping VIP,active Ip address.

1.Connection between two core switch is etherchannel.
2.Etherchannal is up and able ping other VLAN's VIP from core2.
3.Did shut and unshut on core2 VLAN # 1 interface , but still not rechable.
4.In core 2, i can learn ARP entry of VIP and active IP
5.From core 1 i can't ping standby IP of VLAN 1. other VLAN's standby IP reachable.
6.Native VLAN is 100. Etherchannel allowed vlan 1 on both side.
7.Switch  model is Cisco 3750. IOS - 12.2(55).SE5

Any guess what could be the issue.

Also paste the config for 2 cores as far as etherchannel, Vlan1,100 and HSRP config is concerned.

Hi Every one
I have an similar issue with HSRP version 1 Virtual IP(VIP) address. I am unable to ping VIP. I have configured HSRP between two Cisco 3560 switch Layer 3 VLAN interface and two Cisco ASA 5525 Active /Standby firewall(ASA-FW).  However I can ping all physical interface IP address.

The configuration of the devise as follows :
Firewall Interface Config
ASA-FW# sh runn int gig 0/0
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
 description OutSide Sub Interface
 nameif Outside
 security-level 0
 ip address 128.40.124.218 255.255.255.248 standby 128.40.124.219

HSRP Configuration on Cisco 3560 Switch
C3560-AH-EXT#sh runn int vlan 101
interface Vlan101
 description FW_OutSide
 ip address 128.40.124.220 255.255.255.248
 standby 101 ip 128.40.124.217
 standby 101 priority 120
standby 101 preempt delay minimum 10
Pinging from FW to HSRP VIP
Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)

HSRP State on Cisco 3560 SW
C3560-AH-EXT#sh standby vlan 101
Vlan101 - Group 101
  State is Active
1 state change, last state change 4d18h
  Virtual IP address is 128.40.124.217
Active virtual MAC address is 0000.0c07.ac65
Local virtual MAC address is 0000.0c07.ac65 (v1 default)
Hello time 3 sec, hold time 10 sec
Next hello sent in 0.408 secs
Preemption enabled, delay min 10 secs
  Active router is local
Standby router is 128.40.124.221, priority 110 (expires in 7.265 sec)
  Priority 120 (configured 120)
IP redundancy name is "hsrp-Vl101-101" (default)

I can see arp entry on FW, I have cheack all subnet mask, Native Vlan mismatch  etc.

If you could suggest me will be very helpful.
