IE-2000U-4T-G, not possible to fix the Gigaports to 100 full-duplex

We encountered the problem, that we could not set the Gigabitports to 100 full-duplex. The problem is that the connection point on the other side of this connection is fixed to 100 full-duplex and can't be changed. It's the first time I remarked that the setting to duplex full doesn't fix the port to full-duplex.

switch(config-if)#duplex ?
  full auto  Enable AUTO duplex configuration but advertise only full duplex capabilities

switch(config-if)#duplex

Anybody knows if there is a fix for this (planed)?

Why isn't there the possibility to fix this? Especially for industrial purposes, there should be a possibility for fixing the mode to full-duplex

if you set it at speed 100 auto and duplex full auto , its full duplex and only negotiates at that speed and duplex settings , if you set it like that and check the port does it show full duplex
