Hi Guys,
2960x and 4500 series switched are interconneted via fiber cable.
IP Subnet :- 192.168.39.0/24
1) 2960-X in defalut mode. Nothing configured. ( Client PC's are connected with it)
2) 4500 (core switch) - VLAN 20 are there with IP address. Which is client's gateway. On Trunk port, all created VLAN are allowed.
Now, on L2 switch clients packets tag with packet with vlan 1 and forward the packet to trunk port.
In this case, VLANs are identical on both the switches. So as per concept, Client shouldnt communicate with each other.
But its happening and i am totally confused. Please help
