IOS Copy for Switch 6500 with Sup-720

hi

I have 2 Chassis 6506-E with sup 720. one of them work properly(Switch1) but another(Switc2) not boot form bootdisk and go to ROMMON mode. I Captured IOS from Switch1 with tftp but I cant Copy this image to switch 2 with tftp.

Please help me what should I do?

You said that Supervisor 1 is running OK using the IOS from CF?

Use the same CF to boot off the Supervisor 2.

I could used tftp or CF for boot supervisor2? If yes how to do it?

You can't use TFTP on the 2nd supervisor card.  The fastest way is to copy the IOS from the 1st Supervisor card to a CF.  Eject the CF from the 1st Supervisor card, and insert into the 2nd Supervisor card and, in ROMmon, tell the 2nd Supervisor card to boot the IOS from the CF.

in the RMON prompt ,type command boot disk0: and press enter

ensure you have CF installed  disk 0 and have proper IOS in it

Rommon 1 > dev

Devices in device table:

disk0: PCMCIA Disk 0
