IOS Release 15.0.2-SE4 caveat related to aaa

Hello everybody,

I was faced with the following situation:

I downgraded IOS from the release referred to in the title to the as of today Cisco recommended Version (12.2.55-SE10)

The Switches are C2960G-24TC-L and the method I used was via CNA ver 6.1 (Cisco Network Assistant)

After a succesful update (according to CNA) I was no longer able to access any of the Switches via SSH.

Is this problem known to anyone?

Is there any Workaround known to anyone?

Have you tried telnet? Is it enabled in line vty?

Sometimes, just need to regenerate the RSA keys.

Thanks

I have tried Telnet and whereas I am getting the login screen and the banner, the switch does not accept the credentials. I could reset the keys if i had access to the switch. I also did not get access via the console as the authentication is affected through aaa.

Strange. Can you paste the config before the upgrade if you have?
