Hi ,
I have a question when we configure IP sla for dynamic fail over it works as expected but when the link switched to the back up link it has intermittently disconnects and then comes back up.We hav etested its not the issue with the service provider side.
Please let me know if you need any more information.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Jawad,
This works for me but the issue I am seeing is that there are unsucessful ping after it fails over to the backup link, and if I connect a PC directly to the provider router there are no ping drops. Also the weard part is there are only 3 unsucessful ping after few seconds.
I am posting the configuration for your reference:
ip sla 1
icmp-echo 8.8.8.8
threshold 2
timeout 1000
frequency 3
ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now
track 1 ip sla 1 reachability
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 xx.xx.xx.xx track 1
Please let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks for the rersponse.

When you shift you traffic to failover check you track is down.
show track brief
and check your 1 default router is active or both
by using show ip route.
