Hi,
For an existing corporate network infrastructure I'm looking for a way to monitor packet loss on uplinks between switches in a way that if a certain amount of packet loss or error is detected the link will shut down or have it will have a STP convergence to use the redundant link instead.
Been looking around a bit but couldn't find a good answer, anyone who has a good suggestion?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Maybe an IP Probe is not the correct way to go. But as we have redundant links (with same BW) to the core switches it would be good to find a way to stop using a link with packet loss or errors and instead use the working link.
