IR829 LTE connection drops

I have a IR829GW-LTE-VZ-AK9 that is having some cell connection drops. It worked fine in one area (Orlando, FL), but is experiencing drops with the exact same configuration in a different area (Franklin, NC). I am using a cell booster to amplify the signal, but I don't think that is the problem. My reason for thinking that is that I also have a Verizon Jetpack Mifi (Novatel) that is in the same place and it has been totally solid. I think there is some that is annoying the VZ network and it is dropping the data call. Here is what the problem looks like when the connection drops: .Nov 23 12:17:41 EST: %CELLWAN-2-BEARER_DELETED: Instance id=0, Default bearer (bearer_id=6) in Cellular0 is now deleted. .Nov 23 12:17:41 EST: %CELLWAN-2-BEARER_DELETED: Instance id=0, Default bearer (bearer_id=255) in Cellular0 is now deleted. .Nov 23 12:17:43 EST: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Cellular0, changed state to reset .Nov 23 12:17:43 EST: %DIALER-6-UNBIND: Interface Ce0 unbound from profile Di1 .Nov 23 12:17:44 EST: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Cellular0, changed state to down .Nov 23 12:17:48 EST: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Cellular0, changed state to down Then it comes back a few seconds later: .Nov 23 12:17:59 EST: %CELLWAN-2-BEARER_UP: Instance id=0, Default bearer (bearer_id=6) in Cellular0 is now UP .Nov 23 12:17:59 EST: %CELLWAN-2-BEARER_UP: Instance id=0, Default bearer (bearer_id=6) in Cellular0 is now UP .Nov 23 12:18:01 EST: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Cellular0, changed state to up .Nov 23 12:18:01 EST: %DIALER-6-BIND: Interface Ce0 bound to profile Di1 .Nov 23 12:18:02 EST: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Cellular0, changed state to up In the connection call history, this is what I see over and over again: tcfnc#sh cell 0 conn call Start Time Stop Time Duration Thu Nov 23 12:11:52 2017 Thu Nov 23 12:12:33 2017 41 seconds Call disconnect reason Call end mode = 3GPP Session disconnect reason type = 3GPP specification defined(6) Session disconnect reason = Regular deactivation(36) Thu Nov 23 12:12:51 2017 Thu Nov 23 12:13:35 2017 44 seconds Call disconnect reason Call end mode = 3GPP Session disconnect reason type = 3GPP specification defined(6) Session disconnect reason = Regular deactivation(36) Again, the signal strength looks good. tcfnc#show cell 0 radio Radio power mode = online LTE Rx Channel Number = 5230 LTE Tx Channel Number = 23230 LTE Band = 13 LTE Bandwidth = 10 MHz Current RSSI = -56 dBm Current RSRP = -84 dBm Current RSRQ = -12 dB Current SNR = 7.6 dB Physical Cell Id = 0x121 Number of nearby cells = 2 Idx PCI (Physical Cell Id) -------------------------------- 1 289 2 290 Radio Access Technology(RAT) Preference = AUTO Radio Access Technology(RAT) Selected = LTE Note the strong RSSI. I thought it might be something with the MTU, that hasn't helped. Router config attached.

Hello,

the config looks fine, I can only think of minor things to add (in bold).

interface Cellular0
no ip address
ip nat outside
ip mtu 1400
ip virtual-reassembly in
encapsulation slip
ip tcp adjust-mss 1360
dialer in-band
dialer pool-member 1
dialer-group 1
async mode interactive
routing dynamic

interface Dialer1
ip address negotiated
ip nat outside
ip mtu 1400
ip virtual-reassembly in
zone-member security external
encapsulation slip
ip tcp adjust-mss 1360
dialer pool 1
dialer idle-timeout 0
dialer string lte
dialer persistent
dialer-group 1

I had the 'ip mtu 1400' stuff in there earlier, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I can add the 'routing dynamic' line. I understand the routing stuff just fine, but I don't do much on the cellular side so that is a mystery.

Hello

Would it be possible to post:

Show Cellular0 all

Hello

Im not a wireless experienced but....

"Current RSSI = -56 dBm Current RSRP = -84 dBm Current RSRQ = -12 dB Current SNR = 7.6 dB"

The SNR looks very low which surely result in lower data rates and throughput?

It turns out the problem wasn't with the signal. Verizon was dropping the call because they didn't like some of the traffic I was sending out. I resolved it by putting an outbound ACL on on the dialer interface. VZ is issuing IP's that are part of the 100.64.0.0/10 private space (Used for communications between a service provider and its subscribers when using a carrier-grade NAT), so that is why I used that source address range in the ACL. ip access-list extended dialer-out permit tcp 100.64.0.0 0.63.255.255 any permit udp 100.64.0.0 0.63.255.255 any permit icmp 100.64.0.0 0.63.255.255 any permit esp 100.64.0.0 0.63.255.255 any deny ip any any log ! interface Dialer1 ip access-group dialer-out out ! Thanks to all for the suggestions.
