Is there a way to find out the passive switch port of a bonded/teamed NICs? Any features on Cisco swiches that can generate control-traffic to the passive NIC to indentify which swich port it is connected? or any other logic that is applicable?
You could get the MAC address of the NIC and on the switch do show mac-address address mac-address
that should give you the port it is connectded to.
