When I first configured a switch I had C2960g. Now I have C2960x.
During C2960g time there was Cisco Network Assistant. When I try to add C2960x switch to Cisco Network Assistant, Network Assistant says not supported.
Now there is CCP, which does support C2960x but not C2960g.
Is it true that Cisco does not have software that supports C2960g and C2960x?

Cisco Network Assistant 5.8(9.1) does support 2960x.
Apparently no EOL, SOL for Cisco Network Assistant.

2960g is at least 12 years old. It is also EOL and SOL. So, I don't think Cisco is going to make CCP backward compatible with 2960G series.

What is SOL?
Is Cisco Network Assistant also EOL and SOL?
