Hi All,

I have just purchased a ISR4331/K9 with a SM-X-ES3-24-P.

I am getting the below error message:

*May 22 13:52:05.350: %SPA_OIR-3-EVENT_TIMEOUT: subslot 1/0: Timeout waiting for SPA OIR event

*May 22 13:52:10.353: %SPA_OIR-3-RECOVERY_RELOAD: subslot 1/0: Attempting recovery by reloading SPA
*May 22 13:52:10.353: %SPA_OIR-6-OFFLINECARD: SPA (SM-X-ES3-24-P) offline in subslot 1/0

Does anyone have an idea of why this might be happening ? I've attached a couple of command outputs as well.

Hello Tom,

try the following:

power off the router, remove and reinsert the service module

power on again.

the service module looks like to be stucked and it is not able to answer to Pnp messages

see log messages from show tech

Thank you for your help; unfortunately, I am still gettting the same issue - I have even replaced the switch module and am having the same issue. Do you think it could be an IOS issue ?
