I need to do L3 etherchannel on ASR to L2 etherchannel on 2960X without using subinterfaces on router. Is this possible?

regards,
do not quite understand what you need, you want the router has a etherchannel with ip configured and that the switch has configured a etherchannel this within a vlan?

Yes, It works. I've done it with a asr1001,can't remember the switchtype, but it was configured with port-channel and switchport mode access.

Also indicated mlund is possible, remember that the 2 teams for the switch to communicate must have an ip on vlan interface.
