Hi I am looking to purchase a couple of switches to get the idea of using the CLI and trunking etc.
What would be a good one to buy?
I was looking at the CISCO CATALYST WS-C2950G-48-E
Something that I can also configure VLANs on, and that has a GUI option.
What is a good one to use?
Thanks

hi,
are you looking for a lab switch for your CCNA R/S?
do you plan to upgrade to CCNP R/S or branch out to CCNA Security afterwards?

Hi,
To start with I am looking for a Switch that I can use to follow the CCNA R/S.
Then move on from there.
Thanks

depends on your budget but you're best bet is to get a 2960.

Packet tracer was great for the CCNA R/S. It has pretty much everything you need.
