Hello Friends,

In my working environment, I am using number of VLANs for differenciate High Traffic, Stagging, Network Switches and servers monitoring.

From last couple of days, One of the segment which we are using as VLAN5 - 10.153.5.* is stucked for short period of time and automatically up within a 5 mins..at that time Latency is in between1512ms to 2000ms.

Now i want to identify why it should occure. Will any one suggest any idea why it is happen?

What address are you pinging in than Vlan and where are you starting the ping from?

Can you show a topology?

I am pinging from another VLAN which is our monitoring VLAN14...Servers are in another VLAN say VLAN5..

Check the counters on the vlan interface for anything adnormal.

And to clarify this happen in intervals of time? like every 5 mins ?

Not every 5 mins....It will stuck suddenly, so whenever i should go for check something. It will up automatically after 5-6 mins like normal network...
