Hi Gents,

may i ask if i configured my LACP properly in my cisco core switch?

here is my configuration screenshot below.

i have port-channel50 for my ESXi server and specifies it under vlan11 and only using mode access (not trunk) and also the 2 gig port under LACP. port 38 and 39.

when i ran the command show int port-channel 50 i can see that the state is down.

but when i ran the command show int gig for both the ports included in the LACP group i can see that there are packets coming in and received so for me the LACP worked but it is very confusing why the interface port-channel is down.

here are some additonal info for my ethernchannel

any help on this if this is normal?

thank you

Hi

It seems that both device did not agree on the negotiation. If you did right on the ESXi side, then, try to change from desirable to mode on.

i have configured NIC Teaming on the ESXi side. i will try your suggestion to change mode to on.

Hi Sir, update:

i have changed to mode on on both ports and i can now see that the port-channel 50 is up.

Thank you so much
