linking 3650's via fiber

Hi, hoping someone can help with this irritating problem I've got!

My current office has 5 x Cisco 3650 switches stacked together (via stacking module) that services what I will call Office-A. I need to connect these via OM4 MM fiber cable to a new floor space 150 feet away which I will call Office-B. This office has 2 x 3650's stacked via stacking module again. Checking the interfaces Office-B's switches they can see each other ok, so I'm using Cisco branded SFP's to connect the fiber back to Office-A with the below configuration from Office-B's switch-1 to Office-A's Server switch:

#vtp mode client

#interface t1/1/1

#switchport mode trunk

#switchport trunk allowed vlan all

#switchport trunk native vlan 1

#no shutdown

However I cant get a connection to form between the stacks. I know the fiber is working ok (a Netgear switch is able to connect instantly to its neighbour without any problems) so what am I missing? I've attached a crude Visio of what I'm attempting.

Many thanks

the 10gbs should work 3650s don't support the other type

I believe these mods are the same as 3850 and theres specific pisrt for 10gb have you tried the below if your 10gb ?

C3850-NM-2-10G
This module has four slots that support the following combinations:
Two slots (left side) support only 1-Gigabit SFP modules and two slots (right side) support either 1-Gigabit SFP or 10-Gigabit SFP modules.
Three slots (left side) support 1-Gigabit SFP modules and one slot (right side) supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet SFP+.
Supported combinations of SFP and SFP+ modules:
Slots 1, 2, 3, and 4 populated with 1-Gigabit SFP modules.
Slots 1 and 2 populated with 1-Gigabit SFP modules, and Slot 4 populated with one 10-Gigabit SFP+ module.
Slot 3 and Slot 4 each populated with 10-Gigabit SFP+ modules.

Hi

Are the interfaces up/up on both sides yes ? can you post them

if there up do you see cdp between them ? and if up what does show int trunk provide each side

Hi Mark, no the interfaces arent up at all. The status lights are dead and dont respind when I plug the SFO's in. I know the fiber works as a netgear switch used for lining the voip networks between office (on fiber patch port 3) works ok. When I plug the Cisoc switches into that port on either end they stay dead.

Hi

whats the sfps that you are using and what ports exactly on the module are you connecting them to

can you post the show inventory

Hi, I've been supplied with 4 x spf-10g-sr-s and 2 x mgbsx1

should also mention I'll be connecting 2 x 10 port cisco switches to connect Meraki Wifi AP's to our firewalls but that's separate, hence the extra sfp's.

the 10gbs should work 3650s don't support the other type

great good stuff :)

HI, fixed it! I had the sfp in port 1 instead of port 3 or 4 which is for 10gb modules. As soon as I plugged it in there it came up!

Hello

If your configuration is correct and you still have no physical connection - Try swapping the fibre strands of the fibre cable around at one end of the connection
